  What appeared to be a lightning strike turned out to be an ant problem. Booked over the phone and was given a time, then got a return call to say that there was a cancellation and could come earlier. Follow up text regarding arrival at the property and a very pleasant tradesman Brad came and delivered the bad news that it wasn't lightning and not claimable on insurance. Did a complete evaluation and quoted a price on repairs. Bypassed the problem to allow pool pump to work ( thanks) and then came to do the job. Impressed with the work done (the fan doesn't vibrate the whole pergola now) and installed new lights which are great. No mess left behind for me to clean up, did a great job. Can't fault the service I received from a local company with many years experience. Just hope the invoice doesn't arrive as promptly as the service. :) Many thanks K & J Burns.

  Had to pay $302 upfront, was not informed they were doing extra work, then charged another $137 for the job. They had to come out twice as 1 air con started leaking 2 days after they serviced it, on the 2nd visit it started leaking again 2 days after. I called back, they told me they would be in touch, and never were. I was told they left voice mails, I never received a miss call or voicemail. I ended up getting another company out. I asked if they could waive the $137, as A, the job was not complete, B I was not informed of the extra charge prior to the work being done, but nope. Be very careful.

  *Regarding your response below, K&J, did you say that I reported you that I'm in the process of suing a company? Thanks for that idea but don't you think that it's cost-inefficient to sue over aircon leakage? Good luck with that. I'd rather ask other company to fix it and get over with it in this hot weather.

  Payment needed to be made before the service was provided; Nothing was done despite $192.50 paid upfront but a couple of assumptions were made; Lastly, inappropriate, unpleasant behaviours of the technician was displayed. I confronted him face to face and reported it to the company and the NT Police. A watchful eye is absolutely needed for that bloke and I don't recommend him to any female customers/customers with children.

  Great team at KJ Burns Electrical, especially great service from Keogh. Very happy with his job, pleasant manner and cleaned up the area before leaving. Top marks!
